Yosemite Falls

The ongoing drought in California means very little snow; in fact, my recent February visit to Yosemite National Park felt a bit like summer time. Although the valley was not covered in snow like I wished it would be, it is still a wonderful park with many great scenery.
Known for the various waterfalls, the winter just isn't the best season to visit. However, the Yosemite Falls (upper and lower) flow year-round and attract many visitors even during low season. Casual visitors can come close to the base of lower fall while serious hikers may tackle the strenuous ascend to the top of upper fall. Its beauty has a very special place in my heart and I look forward to seeing it again when the drought is over.
