After some midnight Black Friday shopping in the outlet by the Mexican border, my friend and I had a well-deserved lengthy rest only to wake up to a misty morning. The sun was nowhere to be seen but we must deal with this unpleasant weather.
Having been wanting to photograph Balboa Park in San Diego, there just weren't too many exciting opportunities with the cloudy weather. It was almost toward the end of our visit did the sky clear up, and that was when I snapped the above shot -- the botanical building and its reflection on the lily pond, one of the more photographed spots in the park. Hardly an amazing shot, at least this is a keeper from an otherwise mediocre session.
