Milky Way

Besides the unfair competition between the E100VS vs Fujifilm X-Trans sensor, I also tested the Fujifilm's claim on their superb high ISO capability. Originally I only wanted to shoot star trails with the film, but another photographer pointed out the milky way was quite visible and showed me its whereabouts.
Fortunately I bought along two tripods -- one for the star trails and one for the milky way. After much struggling and experimenting with the OVF/EVF/LCD (too dark), I came back with several shots that I really enjoyed. At ISO 3200, the file is unbelievably clean and the milky way is visually impressive. I suppose there are things that film just couldn't do (well).

Camera: Fujifilm X-Pro1
